1) Who this Policy covers

Visitors to our website (including users who contact us via forms or WhatsApp).
Prospective customers who submit enquiries or request downloads (e.g., checklists).
Business contacts of our vendors/partners.

This Policy does not cover employees or services run by third parties we link to (e.g., social media platforms).

2) Information we collect

A) Information you provide to us

We collect information you submit directly through:

Enquiry form: your name and phone or WhatsApp number; your email and a message if you choose to add them; what you would like to build, a budget range and when you would like to start; and, if you came from one, the case study or sector page you were looking at.
Newsletter choice: whether you ticked the box asking for our notes, and when.
Download/lead forms (e.g., name, email, number, business type, message) when you request resources like a checklist.
Email, phone, or WhatsApp conversations with us.
Event/QR campaigns where you open a page and submit a form.

You may choose what to share, but some fields can be required to respond or fulfill your request.

B) Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we (and our service providers) may collect:

Device/usage data: IP address, browser type/version, pages visited, time/date, referring URL, approximate location, and interactions.
Cookies or similar tech: to keep the site secure, remember preferences, and measure performance (see “Cookies” below).

C) Information from third parties

We may receive information from:

Tools that help us manage the website (hosting, security, performance).
Communication or email delivery providers.
Analytics or marketing tools (aggregated insights).
Public sources (e.g., your company website or social profiles you choose to share).

3) How we use your information

We use personal information to:

Respond to enquiries and provide the services/content you request (e.g., sending a checklist).
Send our newsletter (Elytri’s notes on web, UX and AI) to the email address you gave, only if you ticked the box on the enquiry form. The box is unticked by default, and we do not add you to the newsletter in any other way.
Operate and improve our website, user experience, security, and performance.
Communicate about consultations, services, offers, and updates (with consent where required).
Run campaigns and measure results, including QR or event-based traffic.
Comply with law, enforce our terms, and prevent misuse or fraud.

Legal bases (for EEA/UK visitors): consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests (e.g., site security, analytics, B2B outreach), and legal obligations.

4) Cookies & similar technologies

Cookies (and similar technologies like local storage) may be used to:

keep the site secure and functioning,
remember basic preferences (e.g., form states),
understand aggregate usage (page views, performance),
help us improve content and UX.

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some features may not work correctly without them.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, comply with legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. For typical lead/enquiry data, we review retention periodically and delete or anonymize when no longer needed (commonly up to 24 months from last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or legitimate business needs). If you asked for our newsletter, we keep your email address for it until you unsubscribe.

8) Your choices & rights

A) Email & marketing

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time, using the link in every issue or by writing to hello@elytri.com. We will remove you promptly.
Transactional or service emails (e.g., file delivery, important notices) may still be sent.

B) Access, correction, deletion

Subject to local law, you may request:

Access to your personal information,
Correction of inaccuracies,
Deletion of personal information,
Restriction or objection to certain processing,
Data portability (where applicable).

We’ll respond per applicable law. We may ask for verification before fulfilling a request.

C) India (DPDP Act, 2023)

If you are in India, you may request access, correction, erasure, and grievance redressal. You can contact our Grievance Officer at hello@elytri.com (subject line: Privacy – Grievance). We will acknowledge and resolve grievances in accordance with applicable law.

D) EEA/UK residents

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your personal data violates applicable law.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information (e.g., secure hosting, access controls, SSL/TLS). No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so please use the site responsibly and let us know if you suspect any issue.

Third-party links & social media

Our website includes links to third-party platforms (e.g., X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn) and a WhatsApp contact link. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies—not this one. Elytri AI Innovations

Children’s privacy

Our site and services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the age defined by your local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Job applications

When you apply for a role at Elytri, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, phone, email, the links you share, your answers, your current company and role, your notice period, how easy the trip to our office is, whether you speak, read or write Kannada (if you answer), your resume, your years of experience, joining date, and current and expected monthly CTC. We use these only to assess your application and to contact you about it. Your application is seen by KriS and anyone who handles hiring at Elytri. We delete applications, including resumes, six months after they arrive, unless you ask us to keep yours for future roles (below). If you join Elytri, what you sent becomes part of your employee record. To withdraw your application or ask us to delete it sooner, write to hr@elytri.com. While you fill in the form, a draft is kept in your own browser for up to 7 days, and you can clear it at any time.

We use Claude, an AI service by Anthropic, to write a short internal summary of your application. Your answers and resume are sent to Anthropic for this. A person makes every decision.

If you tell us by email or WhatsApp that we may keep your application for future roles, we keep it for up to two years from that day. Otherwise we delete it six months after it arrives, even if we are considering you for later.

Emails about new roles and Elytri news. If you tick “Email me about new roles and news from Elytri”, we keep your name and email address to email you about new roles and Elytri news, for up to two years from the day you agreed. This is separate from your application: either one can end without the other. Every email has a link to unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe, we keep only a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address and the date, so we never add it again by mistake.

Spam checks

We use Akismet, a service by Automattic, to check enquiry form submissions for spam. It receives the details you enter, your IP address and browser information.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top indicates when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
